Le Rocher de la Vierge: The « Virgin of the Rock » is a natural rocky island in a form of long ship hull, topped by a statue of the Virgin. This is a landmark in the city of Biarritz in the Basque country. From the top of this rock, you can see the entire bay of Biarritz, with its large beach on one side, and the other, the Basque Coast and the Pyrenees.
L’Eglise Sainte-Eugénie: The Sainte-Eugénie church is named after Napoleon III’s wife, Empress Eugenie de Montijo. It is a neo-Gothic church of gray stone that dominates the old port.
Imperial Chapel: In 1864, the Empress Eugenie de Montijo decided to build a chapel on the imperial park area.
The Russian Orthodox Church : built between 1890 and 1892 for the large Russian community who frequented the basque country.
The Lighthouse: Built in 1834, it rises 73 meters above the sea level and is proud of its 248 steps.
The Museum of the Sea: Built into the “Atalaye” cliff, you will discover a large collection of marine animals and birds.
Historical Museum of Biarritz: Located in St Andrew’s, Anglican church.
Asiatica Museum : art collections from India, Tibet, Nepal and China.

Miramar Beach is frequented by the locals who come here for the charm and tranquility of this sheltered site.
La Grande Plage: One of Biarritz’s biggest beaches, stretching from north to south of the bay between the Palace Hotel and Bellevue.
Côte des Basques : Famous for surf, wonderful views of the Spanish coast and surrounded by cliffs.
Marbella Beach: Beautiful sandy beach extending the Basque Coast, particularly popular with surfers and bodyboarders.
The Milady Beach: Frequented by local people, ample parking, easy access.
The Old Port
Located between the Rocher de la Vierge and the Grande Plage. With its narrow streets the Old Port has a village atmosphere. Here is a small beach at the bottom of a rocky cove, sheltered from the winds and waves.
